Solomons Group Partners with MST Financial to Enhance Investment Solutions

Solomons Group, a national wealth management group with offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, has entered into a strategic partnership with MST Financial to strengthen portfolio construction, research access and investment solution capabilities for its advisers and clients.

Under the agreement, MST Investment Solutions will provide asset allocation support and research coverage across ASX listed equities, including access to high conviction investment ideas. The two firms will also collaborate on the development of model portfolios and Separately Managed Accounts, including income focused strategies developed alongside the MST Income team.

The partnership provides Solomons advisers with direct access to dedicated equity research and portfolio construction expertise, strengthening the quality of advice they can deliver. Rather than building every solution from the ground up, advisers will be supported by a specialist investment team working alongside them.

For clients, the collaboration translates to more robust portfolio construction, broader diversification and access to strategies built on deep research coverage. This is particularly relevant in the current income landscape, where the progressive phase out of traditional bank hybrids is reshaping how investors generate reliable income. The partnership will include the development of hybrid transition portfolios designed to help clients navigate that shift with confidence.
