David serves dual roles at Solomons – as a Special Counsel at Solomons Legal and as a Director at Solomons Capital.
David likes to think of himself as an “Oldie but Goodie” and seeks to impart his 20+ years of knowledge and experience in the financial and legal industry, whenever and wherever he can at Solomons. Having previously served with the likes of UBS, Allianz, Macquarie, and Bae, Kim & Lee and advised many Korean financial institutions on numerous cross-border financial transactions, David brings insight, foresight, acumen and judgment across all matters concerning the Solomons’ businesses and clientele.
David strongly believes in a multi-disciplinary approach and the crossbreeding of expertise and experience in these fast-changing times and says: “We need to grow more professionals who can do in Rome as Romans do” and “Do that in Brisbane, Sydney, Seoul, Hong Kong and the US and the UK, and more”.
Entrusted with the task of developing Solomons’ institutional business, David remains driven and focused, aiming to play an instrumental role in establishing an asset management business to complement the Solomons group profile.
