Brisbane – Solomons Group is honoured to have hosted and partnered with the launch of Skilled Migrant Professionals Magazine (SMP Magazine) at our Brisbane office on the 16th May 2024. This groundbreaking publication aims to create a community where skilled migrants can connect, share experiences, and draw inspiration.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Emmagness Ruzvidzo, Sandra Taylor, Orode Eke-Okoro, Christine Mudavanhu, Tommy Adebayo (MBA, UWA), and the entire SMP team for establishing such an essential platform. SMP Magazine addresses the unique challenges faced by skilled migrants and provides a space for their voices to be heard and their stories shared.
Victor Asoyo, a Partner at Solomons Legal & Solomons Capital, has been a significant advocate for skilled migrants, and we are proud to highlight his ongoing involvement in this space. Victor’s feature in SMP Magazine showcases his journey from Kenya to Australia and his commitment to empowering skilled migrants. “My story is one of determination, resilience, and an eagerness to embrace the unknown. I hope it serves as an inspiration to skilled migrant professionals, showing that not only survival but thriving in a new country is possible,” said Victor.
Victor’s journey is a testament to his resilience and adaptability. Moving to Australia from Kenya in 1998, Victor pursued dual degrees in law and science at the University of Adelaide. His career path has been marked by significant achievements, including over 20 years of experience in banking and property, and his current role as the Head of Legal at Solomons Group. Victor’s story is an inspiring example of how skilled migrants can overcome challenges and succeed in their new environment.
SMP Magazine plays a vital role in showcasing the talents and contributions of skilled migrant professionals, reflecting values that are deeply embedded in the fabric of our community. Solomons Group is proud to support this initiative, aligning with our commitment to empower and integrate skilled professionals into the broader Australian landscape. We believe in the power of such platforms to foster understanding, innovation, and growth within our diverse society.
