With over 35 years of experience across sales, risk management, and product development, Darren Stratford joins Solomons Capital as the Head of Commercial and Specialist Lending, bringing a wealth of expertise from both banking and non-bank lending sectors. In his new role, Darren will oversee strategic growth, product development, and broker relationships across Solomons Capital’s lending portfolio. His appointment reflects the company’s continued focus on expanding its commercial and specialist lending capabilities to better serve brokers and clients nationwide.
Darren’s extensive background includes senior positions at RedZed, where he helped develop self-managed super fund (SMSF) and private credit products, as well as leadership roles at Resimac, Bluestone, Bank of Queensland, and Suncorp Group. He also spent nearly a decade as a mortgage broker and business owner, giving him deep insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by the lending industry.
